I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and a Master of Arts in Counseling with concentrations in Licensed Professional Counseling and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. I have worked in community mental health, suicide prevention, mobile crisis and providing counseling services in outpatient settings.
My primary work is helping individual’s process traumatic events and learn to manage symptoms that can accompany experiencing traumatic events with the help of mind-body medicine. I have experience working with the veterans and their family members, LGBTQ community, chronically homeless, and individual’s experiencing severe mental health issues. I also enjoy working with couples to help them learn to communicate effectively. I have gained a variety of hands on experience with crisis and trauma management and have the ability to help equip you and your staff to respond effectively in a mental health crisis situation.
